Microsoft's latest update:

Microsoft 365 Copilot - AI powered Chatbot

Are you tired of being bogged down with tedious tasks at work like writing emails, taking meeting notes, and creating presentations? Well, Matrix247 partnering with Microsoft has some good news for you!

Introducing… Copilot, an AI-powered chatbot that will revolutionise the way you work!

With Copilot embedded in the Microsoft 365 suite of apps, you can say goodbye to menial tasks and focus on what really matters. Powered by the famous GPT-4 from OpenAI, Copilot will be your trusty assistant, helping you generate documents, emails, presentations and more. Get ready to work smarter, not harder!

Copilot is your personal assistant that will make your workday a breeze by generating documents, and presentations, and even helping you with Excel formulas. And that’s not all, Copilot will also be your email buddy, helping you craft the perfect email response with just a few clicks. The possibilities are endless; here are some examples of what else Copilot can do:

1. Prepare you for your meeting

With Microsoft Copilot, you no longer have to scramble to prepare for meetings at the last minute. By integrating with your emails and calendar, Copilot will generate helpful bullet points to guide your focus during the meeting, ensuring that you are always well prepared and able to confidently engage in meaningful discussions.

2. Generate documents based on an existing document

Have you ever found yourself staring at a blank Word document, struggling to come up with the perfect start to a product blog or a new product announcement? It can be frustrating and unproductive. With Copilot, you’ll never have to worry about that again. Simply type in a prompt like “generate a product announcement” and link to an existing product specification elsewhere in Microsoft (such as a presentation, Word document or Excel spreadsheet). Copilot will read the linked data and create a new product announcement in Word with perfect context, ready to go! With Copilot’s help, you can easily and quickly create compelling documents and get your message out to your audience.

3. Create a PowerPoint complete with styling and pictures

Don’t have the time or skills to create a PowerPoint presentation? No need to worry, Microsoft’s new Copilot has got your back. Just type in the details like the number of slides desired styling, and content, and Copilot will work its magic to create an impressive presentation that will impress your audience.

4. Use natural language to analyse data

No more typing in complicated formulas in Excel. The new Copilot in Microsoft 365 can analyse data using natural language. Just ask Copilot “what were the most profitable products this quarter?” and it will generate the answer for you.

5. Automaticaly capture meeting notes

With Copilot on your side during Teams meetings, you can sit back and relax knowing that it will automatically capture everything discussed. From transcripts to action items, the new feature on Microsoft 365 makes sure that you never miss an important detail.

As with any assistant, Copilot isn’t always perfect. That is why Microsoft has developed a grounding system to help Copilot better understand the task at hand. By grounding itself in a specific domain, Copilot can generate more relevant and accurate suggestions and responses. For example, if Copilot is grounded in the domain of finance, it will have a better understanding of financial terminology, and its concepts, allowing it to generate more accurate responses when working on financial documents or tasks. Grounding makes Copilot an even more valuable tool in the workplace.

With the release of its AI-powered Copilot feature, Microsoft is racing ahead towards the future of office apps. With the speed of innovation and accuracy of its AI models, Microsoft is certainly not backing down from the challenge. In fact, Microsoft is leading the way, and addressing the concerns by providing crystal clear explanations of how the system makes decisions, highlighting any limitations, and encouraging users to review, fact-check and adjust content based on subject matter expertise. The future of work is already here!

All in all, Copilot is set to be a game changer for all Microsoft 365 users, making our lives more efficient and streamlined. With Microsoft’s commitment to innovation and responsible development, the future looks bright for AI-powered software.
